We are celebrating our first Summer Camp in the city of Maastricht. The camp will start Monday 13th of July and will end on Friday the 18th, from 9:00 to 13:00 every day. This Summer Camp theme is 'The Robotics Olympics'. Kids will work in teams of two members to develop their own Lego WeDo robots, all teams will compete against each other in three super-fun Robotics Olympics challenges: 1- Speed, 2-Dribbling and 3-Robotics battle. Our specialists will teach them great engineering tricks, help them solving programming problems and assist their developments during the whole camp.
First day of the competition will be for all teams to make their first robot samples, challenge other teams to detect any constructive or programming flaws and get it all ready for the first day of competition.
Second day: teams will have one hour to make the last tweaks before the competition. Then our specialists will set up the speed arena and all teams will compete to earn points (3 points for a win, 1 point for a tie, 0 point when their robot loses)
Third day: we begin the day with a 60-min tweaks phase and the competition starts right away, today's challenge will be dribbling obstacles in a new arena!
Fourth day: Today will be the creative day. Teams will have the whole day to test and install weapons in their robots and get them ready for the last day of competition.
Last day: we begin the day with a 60-min tweaks phase and the competition starts right away, today's challenge will be our famous robotics battle challenge in the final arena! In the last hour of the day the first two qualified teams will have some time to improve their robotic creations for a final fight where they'll compete for the final trophy. Parents are very welcome to attend the grand final!
Kids will have to bring their own food and drinks, we'll provide fruit and other small snacks too. No previous knowledge needed!
