ICANCODE SCHOOL is a brand of The Very Little Agency, therefore the agreement is between our customers and The Very Little Agency.
Cancellation/Returns
Once the course has been paid, we admit no refunds. The only case we refund the monthly fees not used yet is if the customer can prove a family change of address of more than 50km from their current home address. The proof we need in these cases is an official house contract (loan, rent contract or similar). The fees returned will be those not used at all, ie: if a student subscribes for a 3 months plan and attends one lesson on the first month, we can return the next 2 months.
Group Assigning
The Very Little Agency / ICANCODE SCHOOL will work to group our students in the most efficient way based on our internal parameters and dates available. Making a booking on our website doesn't mean a student is immediately accepted and assigned to a group. The Very Little Agency / ICANCODE SCHOOL will alway confirm the assignment of a group to a student, once the group is communicated to the parent and in case the latter agrees with it, The Very Little Agency / ICANCODE SCHOOL will forward an invoice and a payment method (link to IDEAL, PAYPAL or bank transferral)
Payment
We accept most bank cards through iDeal and most major credit cards through PayPal.
Privacy and Protection
To protect your privacy, we will never disclose any information we hold about you to a third party, unless required by law or with your agreement. We may wish to inform you of special offers from time to time, but if you would prefer not to receive such information, please contact us.
In no event shall The Very Little Agency / ICANCODE SCHOOL be liable for any damage arising, directly or indirectly, from the use of the information contained on this website including damages arising from inaccuracies, omissions, or errors. Any person relying upon any of the information contained on this website or making any use of the information contained herein, shall do so at his, her, or its own risk. The Very Little Agency / ICANCODE SCHOOL hereby disclaims any liability and shall not be held liable for any damages including, without limitation, direct, indirect, or consequential damages including loss of revenue, loss of profit, loss of opportunity, or other loss.
Certificates
The Very Little Agency / ICANCODE SCHOOL will not issue any official certificate of any type.
Student Rejection
The Very Little Agency / ICANCODE SCHOOL has the power to expel a student if this one behaves badly with other students or the staff of The Very Little Agency / ICANCODE SCHOOL, or intentionally breaks material we use in our school.
Insurance
The Very Little Agency / ICANCODE SCHOOL has a liability insurance that only covers the damage to others within the local of our school if we operate our material badly, our insurance doesn't cover lose of property of others. Learning difficulties
Due to lack of expert teachers in the matter and structure of our lessons, if a student has any learning difficulties, parents must declare so to one of our staff members before joining the school. In case this case was not declared, the school has the right to reject the admission of a student with the consequent refund of the money for the lessons not used until that moment.
Catch-up lessons
In general ICANCODE will try to provide catch up lessons to students that could not attend one or more lesson for personal reasons: we will try to add this student to any of our existing groups where there is availability and where the group's level matches that of the student that missed lessons but we can not guarantee these replacement classes and we will not have any obligation to refund partially or totally any monthly or yearly fees.
In case our lessons are organised at a school or a building managed by other institution (a school, high school, other) with which we have a formal agreement and a class has been cancelled there for causes external to ICANCODE, we will do our best to organise catch up lessons as soon as possible. In case these replacement lessons (new dates and times provided) are not fitting some students, ICANCODE will not make partial refunds of the monthly fee.
Group cancelations
ICANCODE SCHOOL could cancel a group that has less than 3 students in two moments: 1) before it starts and 2) at any moment with a notice of a week in advance. ICANCODE SCHOOL will refund the money in one week after the group cancelation notification.
School holidays
Our physical groups receive 1.5hrs every week except on school holidays. In general as an average we deliver 3.8 lessons per month (5.7hours of Coding and Robotics per month) taking a full schooling year (10 months). Of course if you join in the month of December what's likely to happen is that you will receive 3 lessons, but some other months depending on the weekday of you lesson, you'd receive up to 5 lessons in a month.
